Raag Desh (2015) is a Hindi romantic film directed by Anita Lekhi. The film stars Abhay Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Diana Penty, Yunus Shamshad. The main story of the movie revolves around Aditya (Abhay Deol) and Suketu (Sonam Kapoor) who are childhood friends. They always shared one dream of opening their own restaurant together but then they grow up and she comes across the love of her life who turns things upside down for her while he's struggling to get ahead in his career. The movie officially went on floor after the award function held earlier in year 2015.Bikas Mishra has composed the music of this film. The album consists of three songs, including one theme song. It was released on 30 September 2015. Raag Desh movie received mixed reviews from critics and public. Ananya Bhattacharya from "India Today" gave 3 out 5 to the movie and wrote: "Cliched and Over-baked". However, Rachit Gupta from Filmfare gave it 4 out 5, writing: "Riveting Romantic Thriller". The film was declared as a flop by Box Office India, despite positive reviews. A sequel to the film was announced by director Anita Lekhi in October 2017.
